Common Questions
Frequently Asked Questions
0.35mm (DL1142, DL1140, DL1145, DL1146) — the standard specification for industrial and construction rainwear. Durable enough for daily professional use, lighter and more comfortable than heavier grades. Suitable for the majority of industrial, municipal, and agricultural applications.
0.45mm (DL1190, DL1009) — a mid-weight PU/PVC construction offering improved durability and perceived product quality over standard 0.35mm suits. Better suited to buyers who need a higher-grade distributor product or are supplying environments with more abrasive daily wear.
0.60mm (DL1192) — commercial-grade T/C coated construction designed for marine, fishing, and offshore environments where the most demanding waterproof performance is required. Not typically needed for standard industrial or construction use.
For Latin American markets, the DL1145 (jacket + bib pants) is recommended for mining, heavy fieldwork, and applications where full waist and chest coverage is required. The DL1140 knee-length raincoat suits agricultural, livestock, and general outdoor work where extended coverage without bib trousers is preferred. Both use 0.35mm PVC construction and support Spanish and Portuguese labelling for LATAM import requirements.
None of the Heavy-Duty Rainwear range carries EN ISO 20471 Hi-Vis garment certification or FR certification as standard. The DL1146 includes 5cm reflective tape for improved visibility but is not EN ISO 20471 garment certified. If your procurement requires certified FR Hi-Vis rainwear, please see our FR Rainwear range, which includes EN ISO 14116, EN 343, and EN ISO 20471 garment-certified products.
